HIGH-DENSITY MATERIAL, LOW-RESONANCE
HORNS
Conventional molded fiberglass horns
are light and durable, but prone to resonances due to their
large flat surfaces and low internal friction. Complex Conic
horns are curved, not flat, and are molded from UHM (Ultra-High
Molecular Density) Polyurethane, which has high internal
damping. This combination eliminates resonances within the
horn’s passband - and the resulting sonic coloration.
|
| There are TRC models with any number of dispersion
patterns and low-frequency outputs, so the sound designer is
offered a maximum number of choices all within the same family.
Based on the exclusive Renkus-Heinz Complex Conic horn, TRC
actually outperforms its competitors in pattern control and
sound quality. |

Integrates the output of a midrange cone and high
frequency compression driver to create the first new professional
acoustical transducer since the compression driver. The
high output CDT-1 and extreme output CDT-2 are wideband
point source devices with unprecedented power handling, bandwidth and
distortion. |

FINISHES
Flat black water-based polyurethane standard: white, sanded
ready to stain, black carpet, or custom colors (supply swatch or Pantone
PMS number) optional.
INSTALLATION OPTION
All CT Series speakers except the CT8 and CT10 come standard
with installation mounting points and terminal strip connectors.
WEATHER RESISTANT
WR option includes fiberglassed or TuffTex enclosures, weather-resistant
grills, woofer cone treatment, weatherized connectors. TuffTex
is a dense, textured material that is highly resistant to
water, abrasion and scratching. We recommend it for portable
use as well as outdoor installations.
FLYWARE OPTION
CT Mobile systems (CT8, CT10) are supplied with flying hardware
and Neutrik connectors.
