Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Manages all aspects of company operations, including Purchasing, Engineering, Production and Quality Assurance, and Sales. Supervises internal sales office and customer service teams. Participates with Sales, Marketing and Engineering departments with the design and development of new products based on customer specifications. Develops and supervises the company’s overseas production. Reports to company President as a member of the management team. In cooperation with Finance, select and implement a modern central computer system.


Requirements:

Knowledge of the professional audio loudspeaker business both domestically and internationally.


Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Managing, Electrical Engineering or related occupation plus 5 years of post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related field.

Electronics Engineer


Job Description:


Renkus-Heinz, Inc. a leading designer and manufacturer of professional loudspeakers and electronics seeks an Engineer with several years background in electronics hardware design. The successful candidate will:

• Take a project lead role in designated design projects within a development engineering team which includes junior engineer/technician support for prototype building and test as well as software and firmware engineering.

• As a project lead engineer take hands-on responsibility for development projects from design specification stage through to initial production.

• As a project leader take responsibility for meeting project goals including technical performance, cost and schedule targets.

• Participate in peer review/design reviews and consult with team members in support of development projects and new technology adoption.

• Participate in peer review/design reviews and consult with team members in support of development projects and new technology adoption.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians.

• Define production test requirements and take responsibility for the creation of test procedures and fixtures as needed.


Essential Knowledge Requirements:

• PWM Power Supplies
• Class D Amplifiers
• High performance audio CODECs (mixed signal circuitry)
• DSP hardware as applied to audio signal processing (Motorola, Analog Devices, Cirrus Logic), Microprocessors (8051 family)
• Schematic Capture and PCB Layout design (preferably PADS)
• Digital Audio over networks (Ethernet, Firewire, USB)


This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
