The EASERA GATEWAY is the perfect companion to modern laptop computers running SDA’s EASERA or EASERA PRO powerful audio test and measurement software systems. Developed jointly by SDA and PreSonus, the EASERA GATEWAY has been optimized for Dual Channel-FFT and Time Delay Spectrometry (TDS) measurements that require extremely precise input data. It captures audio signals with precision that matches the capabilities of EASERA’s advanced software, converts them into digital signals and transmits them to the EASERA host computer via FireWire.

The EASERA GATEWAY allows EASERA users to take full advantage of all the powerful evaluation and analysis tools offered by EASERA and EASERA PRO with complete confidence in the accuracy and repeatability of their measurements. Its precision performance, synchronous clocks and stable latency also make the EASERA GATEWAY an ideal AD/DA converter - preamp for other measurement systems and applications

Firewire (IEEE 1394) Audio Interface Works with both four and six-pin FireWire (IEEE 1394) connectors; may be powered by either the FireWire bus or external power transformer. 24-Bit / 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96 kHz Sample Rates 24-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters assure wide-band precision conversion; choice of sample rates provides flexibility. Two Microphone Inputs w/48 V Phantom Power, Two Line Inputs Low distortion Class A microphone preamps with low noise and wide dynamic range provide recording studio quality audio amplification and phantom power for measurement microphones.

What hardware is incompatible with EASERA GATEWAY?

• ATI RADEON 9000/9001 IGP video chipset. Symptoms are consistent click and pops during audio playback. This video chipset is only found in PC laptops and is entirely integrated as the computer's only video controller. We strongly recommend that you do not get a system with this chipset, as there is currently no workaround for this incompatibility.
