Originally the Prussian HERRENHAUS,
the historic building has recently been rededicated to house the BUNDESRAT

After the decision was made to repatriate all government functions from Bonn to Berlin, the search for suitable venues began in earnest. For the new BUNDESRAT, the historic Herrenhaus offered a possible solution, provided it could be remodeled to accommodate the special Bundesrat requirements, such as additional offices etc.

Architects Schweger and Partners, won the public bidding for the remodelling contract,
and their completely redone interior gives the building a changed atmosphere which largely replaces the feel of the original historical edifice.

Sound System: installed by Philips utilizes all renkus-heinz loudspeakers
