| INTRODUCTION TO RENKUS-HEINZ
CASE STUDIES |
|
In order to give our customers a better
feel for how we recommend using Renkus-Heinz products, we’re
developing a series of case studies of various usages of our
products. We’ll include drawings, EASE
mappings, EASE models and complete
descriptions of each project.
The projects, in most cases, won’t represent actual
installations, but rather compilations of many similar projects
that we have worked on over the years. Each project download
will include several files; here’s a listing of what
to expect with the file extensions: |
| 1) In the main project folder. |
| b. Project narrative, as an Acrobat.pdf file.
This will outline the program and scope of the project and discuss
the recommendations, solutions and options. |
| 2) In the subfolder Drawings |
| a. One AutoCAD drawing, file extension .dwg,
of the project at full scale. This will be borderless and the
plans and sections will all be on this one drawing. These can
be opened with AutoCAD R14 or AutoCAD LT/97 or later or any
other CAD or drawing program that can import AutoCAD files. |
| b. One or more Adobe Acrobat drawings, file
extension .pdf, of the project at a scale that will print to
an 11 x 17 sheet. |
| a. The EASE project itself, zipped.
This can be opened with EASE, version 4.0 or later. |
| b. A folder of EASE mappings,
file extension .bmp. These are 2D bitmap picture files of the
EASE maps discussed in the project narrative. These files can
be opened with any graphics program. |
| c. A folder of EASE 3D mappings, file extension
.egl. The same maps as above, but in full 3D, which can be opened
with the included EGL Viewer application. |
