    Italian designers Valerio Sommella and Simone Bonanni offer a perfect blend of architectural design and masterful engineering in Solaro. Artisans employ solid teak and teak veneers to construct the seat's arcing backrest, which flows into subtly flared arms that create a sense of movement. Bold cushions rendered in reticulated foam are quick to dry and offer superior comfort and support.

    • Handcrafted of solid teak and teak veneers
    • Our Indonesian teak originates from forests regulated by Indonesia's Sustainable Forest Management (SFM/PHPL) and Verification of Timber Legality (TLAS/SVLK) systems, designed to promote the sustainability of future teak harvests while ensuring legal trade
    • Natural Teak is untreated, finely sanded premium teak. The wood will weather to a silvery grey with outdoor exposure.
    • Weathered Teak is a handcrafted, multistep finish. If left uncovered, our Weathered Teak finish will wear away with exposure to the elements. Once the applied finish has worn off, the furniture will begin to acquire the beautiful silvery-grey patina that is typical of untreated premium teak wood.
    • Teak wood is inherently durable and exceptionally weather resistant. Learn more.
    • Constructed using mortise-and-tenon joinery
    • Cushion features poly-wrapped quick-dry foam; an open-cell reticulated foam core and mesh bottom panel allows water to drain rapidly and air to circulate freely
    • Cushions come in a choice of luxury performance Perennials® or Sunbrella® fabrics designed to weather the elements and resist stains, spills, fading and mildew. Zippers resist corrosion.
    • Our custom-fit outdoor covers are strongly recommended to protect furniture from the elements and minimize aging. Learn more.
